How to Restore all Settings in Coreldraw. / All settings restore in core...

Restoring all settings in CorelDRAW to their default values can be useful if you want to reset the program to its original state or if you're experiencing issues and want to troubleshoot by starting with a clean slate. Here's how you can restore all settings in CorelDRAW:

  1. Reset CorelDRAW to Defaults:

    • For CorelDRAW X8 and later versions:

      • Close CorelDRAW if it's open.
      • Press and hold down the F8 key on your keyboard.
      • While holding down the F8 key, double-click the CorelDRAW shortcut to launch the program.
    • For older versions of CorelDRAW:

      • Close CorelDRAW if it's open.
      • Go to the following path on your computer: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X\Draw\
      • Rename the "Workspace" folder to "Workspace_backup."
  2. Delete User Files:

    • Close CorelDRAW.
    • Go to the following path on your computer: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Corel\
    • Delete the "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X" folder. This folder contains user-specific settings and preferences.
  3. Registry Edit (Advanced):

    • If the above steps don't work, you can make changes to the Windows Registry. However, be cautious when editing the registry, as it can have unintended consequences if not done correctly.
      • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
      • Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
      • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\YourCorelVersion\ and delete the folder related to CorelDRAW. Replace "YourCorelVersion" with the version you have installed (e.g., X8, 2019, 2021).
